Florida is a state that defies ossification. Even as the media reduces it to a punchline and the rest of the country lauds and laments the state in equal measure, Florida continues to inspire my curiosity. To accurately reflect Florida's mercurial qualities, I've classified the images in the broadest topographic sense - 100 ft. above sea level is the mean elevation for the state.

 

     As Florida continues to be built up while the Atlantic gently swallows the coastline, I probe for esoteric happenings that may in some way contribute to the states ongoing mythology.
